I'm insanely busy trying to
finish editing the 2010 metro ski league highlight video in time for the
metro awards night scheduled for Monday, February 22 @ Southridge High
School. What we see on the big screen on Monday night will NOT be the
final "director's cut" version. With our last race just 1-2
days ago, I simply didn't have enough time to
finish the video the way I wanted it, in time for metro awards night.
So to get the final complete metro 2010 video, that will include "bonus"
footage, you can order a DVD copy. The final "director's cut" should
be done later this week....probably in just a couple days. You can also have
your personal runs added on to your DVD.....details below

The 2010 METRO VIDEO trailer!
The
2010 Metro video
includes highlights of the entire season from the Cato race on thru to the last
metro GS race at Mt Hood Meadows. Witness some excellent
ski racing, some exciting crashes, and classic interview sound-bites from
dozens of different metro league racers. Will every metro racer
be in the highlight video? Probably not. But I did my best to show as
many of you as I could, and there's plenty of footage of every team in
the league.
2010 Highlights
includes:
*the singing of the national anthem
*amazing skiing and amazing crashes!
*hardcore competition
*Jake Jake Jake
*and so much more!

PERSONALIZED DVD'S:
Back by popular demand: Metro racers can have their personal
video runs added onto their DVD for an
additional fee.
As I've been logging and editing the metro highlight video this year, I've
kept
track of EVERY racer that were recorded on video-tape all season long. How did I do
this? I used the bib numbers and race orders to determine who each person
was that I have on video tape, so I can assign a name to each racer wearing a bib.
So in doing so, I can sort thru the names alphabetically and determine how many
runs I recorded of a particular individual. How can you find out how
many (if any) runs I recorded of YOU this year?
Email me and ask me. Just tell
me your name and what school you go to, then I'll search thru my list and
I'll let you know in a return email. (or try to
figure out the spreadsheet at the bottom of this webpage) **Some racers I have
2 or 3 runs
on video from this season, while others I have 8 or more. OK? Make sense? Am I
confusing anyone? Questions? Robincressy@q.com or call 503-760-0133 . See you all 7:00PM,
Monday
night, February 22, 2010 at Southridge HS, for the 2010 metro ski
league awards! Want your personal runs spliced together then posted on youtube.com? I can do that too.
SAMPLE OF A PERSONALIZED DVD:
I recorded 9 hours of race day
footage this 2010 metro season, but only 35 minutes of this raw footage makes
it onto the metro highlight video. So there's about 8 and
half or
so
hours of race footage of 163 metro league racers that nobody has seen but me. Just
tell me your name and school, and I can tell you how many runs I
recorded of YOU this season. Then I can cue YOUR footage
up and add it to YOUR personalized DVD. Preserve your high
school ski team memories forever with a
DVD copy of YOUR ski
race runs from the 2010 metro ski race season.

Robin, we look forward
to another Cressy video for our collection.
Cendi Botti, Sunset mom
We just watched your trailers again and they are the best. We
are really going to miss this next year! Thanks, The
Cahills, Jesuit ski team
Great show last night. Some of
the lines you capture are priceless, especially since they are
spontaneous and unscripted. Lots of fun, thanks for doing that!...Nancy
Chapman, OES mom
Robin, This is great. I am sitting in Scottsdale, Az watching
this with a tear in my eye...Becky Burks, metro
Hi Robin,
Your Metro video is totally awesome. We loved it at
the Awards Ceremony and have to have our own copy.
Thank you so much for the wonderful perspective you give the
sport, and professional presentation. (I really like how
you fade one skier into another in the same part of the course,
same body position...that is really cool!) Of course, we
want all the extras you have of Lito. ....Jane
Nicolai (parent), OES ski team
I would love to order a video for Connor Cahill from Jesuit with
as many runs on it that you may have. You continue to be great
as we can all see. We cannot wait to see tomorrow night and what
a tear jerker that Evan Wood Memorial video was...almost too
much for me! ....Jennifer Cahill (parent), Jesuit ski
team
I loved the 2 clips on your website.
Great job. Tonight will be fun to see the whole thing.
We’d like to order the dvd and a trailer of Michael Payne’s
runs if you have some of him. Thank you.

How many metro race video runs of you are there? See the code descriptions
and charts below.
First chart shows what each abbreviation means, and the 2nd chart below shows
each racer, first name, school, which run, etc.
"top" means the video is from the top section of the course
"mid" means somewhere in the middle of the course
"bot" means bottom section of course
"fin" means the last few gates into the finish line (usually just a short video
clip)
"whole" means I got the entire run on video (*ski bowl slalom was
the only race I could see from top to bottom)
Example: the very first person is: Aaron, from
OES, there are 3 video runs of him:
1. Ski Bowl GS, 1st run, middle section of course
2. Timberline slalom (Jan 30 race), 1st run, top section
3. Willamette Pass GS, 1st run, top section
