Robin Cressy (Aloha/Southridge
asst. coach) is finished editing the 2009 metro highlight video. It will
premier on the big screen at the 2009 metro league awards night at
Southridge High School on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 @7:30pm in the
auditorium. If you want
to pre-order a personalized DVD copy, details below.
The
2009 Metro video
includes highlights of the entire season from the Cato race on thru to the last
metro GS race at Ski Bowl. Witness some excellent
ski racing, some exciting crashes, and classic interview sound-bites from
dozens of different metro league racers. Will every metro racer
be in the highlight video? Probably not. But I did my best to show as
many of you as I could, and there's plenty of footage of every team in
the league.
2009 Highlights
includes:
*the singing of the national anthem
*amazing skiing and amazing crashes!
*the battle to win metro
*Opher's last run
*and so much more!

METRO
PERSONALIZED DVD'S:
Back by popular demand: Metro racers can have their personal
video runs added onto their DVD for an
additional fee.
As I've been logging and editing the metro highlight video this year, I've
kept
track of EVERY racer that were recorded on video-tape all season long. How did I do
this? I used the bib numbers and race orders to determine who each person
was that I have on video tape, so I can assign a name to each racer wearing a bib.
So in doing so, I can sort thru the names alphabetically and determine how many
runs I recorded of a particular individual. How can you find out how
many (if any) runs I recorded of YOU this year?
Email me and ask me. Just tell
me your name and what school you go to, then I'll search thru my list and
I'll let you know in a return email. (or try to
figure out the spreadsheet at the bottom of this webpage) **Some racers I have 3 or 4 runs
on video from this season, while others I have 8 or more. OK? Make sense? Am I
confusing anyone? Questions? Robincressy@q.com or call 503-760-0133 . See you all 7:30PM, Wednesday
night, February 25, 2009 at Southridge HS, for the 2009 metro ski
league awards! Want your personal runs spliced together then posted on youtube.com? I can do that too.
SAMPLE OF A PERSONALIZED DVD:
I recorded 9 and a half hours of race day
footage this 2009 metro season, but only 35 minutes of this raw footage makes
it onto the metro highlight video. So there's about 9 or
so
hours of race footage of 163 metro league racers that nobody has seen but me. Just
tell me your name and school, and I can tell you how many runs I
recorded of YOU this season. Then I can cue YOUR footage
up and add it to YOUR personalized DVD. Preserve your high
school ski team memories forever with a
DVD copy of YOUR ski
race runs from the 2009 metro ski race season.

We just watched your trailers again and they are the best. We
are really going to miss this next year! Thanks, The
Cahills, Jesuit ski team
Great show last night. Some of
the lines you capture are priceless, especially since they are
spontaneous and unscripted. Lots of fun, thanks for doing that!...Nancy
Chapman, OES mom
Robin, This is great. I am sitting in Scottsdale, Az watching
this with a tear in my eye...Becky Burks, metro
Hi Robin,
Your Metro video is totally awesome. We loved it at
the Awards Ceremony and have to have our own copy.
Thank you so much for the wonderful perspective you give the
sport, and professional presentation. (I really like how
you fade one skier into another in the same part of the course,
same body position...that is really cool!) Of course, we
want all the extras you have of Lito. ....Jane
Nicolai (parent), OES ski team
I would love to order a video for Connor Cahill from Jesuit with
as many runs on it that you may have. You continue to be great
as we can all see. We cannot wait to see tomorrow night and what
a tear jerker that Evan Wood Memorial video was...almost too
much for me! ....Jennifer Cahill (parent), Jesuit ski
team
I loved the 2 clips on your website.

We’d like to order the dvd and a trailer of Michael Payne’s
