Welcome to Home of original one-of-a-kind art work created by Robert Johnson.
Robert, from Government Camp, Oregon, was born in Illinois in 1964, the youngest of 6 children. His earliest indication he might be an artist was in the 3rd grade when he got in trouble for drawing in class. His punishment was being put out in the hallway and being forced to draw all day long. He learned his lesson! After spending some time in the Army, and working all over the country, Robert ended up in his current home in Government Camp, Oregon. As far as his "art" hobby, Robert works in all types of mediums and also builds his own frames. He considers airbrushing as his favorite art technique. T-shirts are only a small part of what he does. He also creates airbrushed paintings, custom wood frames and mirrors. All the corners are finished with hand cut and worked metal corners, made out of copper, brass, and/or tin, giving the work a bit of a western feel. Robert's ultimate goal is to be able to travel somewhere and create custom made murals along his journey. Robert plans on creating new pieces of varied subject matter and making them available to the general public in the coming weeks and months. If you are interested in any of his pieces seen on this website, or are interested in having Robert make a custom made art piece for you, please contact us here. Local Portland pick-ups can be arranged or if you take a trip up to Mt Hood, we can do that too. Here are a few samples that he has put up for sale. As mentioned above, everything he creates is original and one-of-a-kind.
